Ordering & Returns
1. General Information
The following terms apply to orders placed through the online store
www.thetaforceramics.com,
operated by THEODORA MARIA PETROVA STASINOPOULOU, trading as
Theta for Ceramics (hereinafter the “Business”, “we”, “us”).
By placing an order in our e-shop, you confirm that you are an adult with legal capacity and that you agree
to these Ordering & Returns terms.
2. Ordering Process
Orders are placed exclusively through our website
www.thetaforceramics.com.
- You select the products you wish to purchase and add them to your cart.
- You proceed to checkout, where you fill in the necessary billing and delivery details.
- You choose your preferred payment method and confirm your order.
- After completing the process, you will receive an order confirmation email at the address you provided.
All prices shown on the website are in Euro (€) and include the applicable VAT. Shipping costs, where applicable,
are displayed before order completion.
3. Payment Methods
You can pay for your order using the following methods:
- Card payment via Viva Wallet
- Bank transfer / deposit via Piraeus Bank (details are provided during checkout and/or in the confirmation email)
For card payments, the transaction is processed securely through Viva Wallet’s environment.
We do not store or have access to your full card details.
4. Shipping & Delivery
- Orders are delivered only within Greece.
- Delivery is carried out via a cooperating courier company or other carrier indicated during checkout or in our communication.
- Estimated delivery times may vary depending on the destination and availability of the products. You will be informed in case of substantial delay.
Please ensure that the delivery details you provide are complete and accurate.
We are not responsible for delays or delivery issues due to incorrect or incomplete address information.
5. Order Cancellation Policy
You have the right to cancel your order before it is dispatched by contacting us as soon as possible at
info@thetaforceramics.com.
If the order has already been shipped, the cancellation request will be treated under the terms of our
Returns & Withdrawal Policy (see below).
6. Returns & Withdrawal Policy (Change of Mind)
In accordance with applicable EU and Greek consumer protection legislation
(including Law 2251/1994, as in force), you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract
(online purchase) and return a product purchased from our online store
thetaforceramics.com
within 14 calendar days from the date you or a third party designated by you
(other than the carrier) acquired physical possession of the product,
without stating any reason.
6.1 Conditions for Returns Due to Withdrawal (Change of Mind)
- The product must be returned in its original condition, unused, undamaged and clean.
- The original packaging (where applicable) and all accessories, tags and documents
(e.g. manuals, authenticity cards, etc.) must accompany the product. - A proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) must be included.
- Custom-made, personalized or special-order products, made according to your specific
request (e.g. custom designs, special colors, special inscriptions), cannot be returned
due to change of mind. - Products that show signs of use, wear, damage or alteration by the customer may not be accepted,
or a reduction in the refund amount may apply.
All of our items are handcrafted, and small variations in color, texture or form are part of the nature
of handmade ceramics and do not constitute defects.
6.2 Return Costs & Refunds (Change of Mind)
- In the case of withdrawal due to change of mind, the cost of returning the product
is borne by the customer, unless otherwise agreed in writing. - Once we receive and inspect the returned product, and provided the above conditions are met,
we will proceed with the refund within 14 calendar days from the date we receive the product. - Refunds are usually processed via bank transfer to the account you indicate or,
where feasible, via the same payment method used for the original transaction
(e.g. Viva Wallet), in accordance with the policies of each payment provider. - Any initial shipping costs (from us to you) may not be refunded in case of change-of-mind returns,
unless required by law.
7. Defective or Damaged Products
All our ceramics are handmade, and small variations in shape, size, colour, or texture are part of their natural character — not considered defects. We carefully inspect and package each piece before dispatch to ensure it reaches you safely.
If, however, you receive an item that has been damaged during transport, or if you believe there is an issue that goes beyond the normal handmade variations, please contact us as soon as possible — ideally within a reasonable period after delivery.

After reviewing your message, we will advise you on the next steps. Depending on the situation, we may:

offer a replacement (if a similar piece is available), or

offer a discount code for a future order.
For confirmed transport damage or issues not attributable to the customer, return shipping costs (if a return is required) are normally covered by us, based on the instructions we provide.
8. Return Procedure
To exercise your right of withdrawal or to request a return, please follow the steps below:
- Contact us:
Send an email to info@thetaforceramics.com stating:- your full name,
- your order number,
- the product(s) you wish to return,
- whether it is a change-of-mind return or due to defect/damage.
- Receive instructions:
We will reply with detailed instructions on how to proceed with the return,
including the address and any specific courier or method that should be used. - Prepare the parcel:
Repack the product securely in its original packaging (if available),
ensuring adequate protection for transport. Include the proof of purchase and any relevant documents. - Ship the product:
Send the parcel using the courier or shipping method indicated in our instructions.
For your own safety, we recommend using a trackable shipping service.
We reserve the right to refuse a return or adjust the refund amount if the returned product does not
meet the conditions outlined in this policy.
